Ben can decode the seller's inspection reports, point out things that the inspector missed, and calm worries about everything related to the homebuying or improvement process. I'm in a gorgeous house in a safe neighborhood and every day I find something new to love about it. He is always responsive, and clearly communicates and if he can't do or answer something (not often), he knows someone that can. He made sure that I did not overpay for my house. He did so by conducting market research, having open or ightening fast communication, and impressive negotiation or escalation skills. I actually paid 50K less than what I was expecting to pay for my house. In Seattle. In 2021. You do not want to leave such an important purchase with just any Realtor®. Other Realtors® are happy to sell you anything in return for a commission and only offer the valuable skills of repeating a zillow listing word for word and unlocking a keybox. My first house viewing I was naively ready to throw my hard earned cash at anything. Any other Realtor® would have happily let me buy this horrible house and walked away with their giant commission. Ben didn't. Ben pointed out all of the house issues, such as the builders using cheap siding, water issues around the house, potential for rot etc. All issues that the seller's inspector "missed". The house I first viewed is currently for sale again, is visibly rotting and the current owners are embroiled in lawsuits against the original builder. Due to Ben's builder knowledge, honesty, integrity and desire to make sure I ended up in a perfect house, I did not buy that horrible house, but instead purchased a house that met all of my needs and wants. You need Ben. He knows everything about the Seattle market, knows everything about the homebuying or improvement process, knows how to win the house (without losing your mind and overpaying), he's respectful, extremely kind, always punctual and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the entire process and my home. I will never use a different Realtor® to buy or sell a house again."
