Get to Know Me

Sarah was born in London, England, and raised in the small town of Portishead. She moved to the States in 1992, fell in love with Seattle, and made it her home in 1995. Sarah attended the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in Psychology. She embarked on a career which included positions in retail management, banking and hospitality. Across these fields, she has remained dedicated to cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships with customers, clients, co-workers and employees. Sarah deeply values honesty and respect and considers them the foundation of a successful relationship.
 
In 2006 Sarah and her husband, chef Dan Braun, undertook their biggest endeavor to date and established one of Seattle’s most renowned cocktail lounges, Oliver’s Twist in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood. Eventually they opened a second location in Magnolia Village.
 
Sarah has an imaginative and artistic eye and with her unique aesthetic, she designed and decorated both locations, accommodating a diverse customer base.
 
After a successful 11-year run Sarah and Dan sold both businesses. Moving forward Sarah plans to combine her love of design with her passion for helping people, to create a unique experience for each of her real estate clients. As the former owner/operator of a small business in the highly competitive restaurant industry, Sarah understands the importance of developing and sustaining personal relationships while helping form and realize a client’s vision. Sarah is committed to not only meeting but to exceeding her clients’ expectations and is excited to help others envision and achieve their dreams.
 
Sarah lives in the Broadview neighborhood with her husband Dan, son Oliver and their Great Dane Charlotte.
